Cooking Instructions

Firstly, grate the Nanak khoya/mawa, and keep aside.
Then in a pan add 2 tsp ghee and roast the dry fruits( almonds, pistachios and cashewnuts) on medium flame and keep aside.
In a blender, chop all the roasted dry fruits coarsely and place it in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, put 5-7 strands of saffron in milk and keep aside.
Now in a pan, add grated khoya on sim flame and keep stirring. When it starts turning light brown add milk, cardomom powder and sugar and keep stirring. Gradually it will absorb all the milk and a thick mixture with nice aroma will be obtained. Now add the powdered dryfruits and blend it well. When the mixture is slightly brown in color and thick enough to bind, pour it in a bowl and allow it to cool down. Once it is at room temperature, bind them in the shape of ladoos and serve them.
