Holi 2020

Hindu Students Association at the University of Texas at Austin is proud to present Holi 2020! This is a completely FREE event with FREE colored powder. Come join us on April 4 from 1-4 p.m. at LBJ Lawn to celebrate the most colorful day of the year!

Holi, commonly known as the Festival of Colors, is a widely celebrated event that welcomes the arrival of spring. The festival is celebrated by throwing rang (colored powder) on friends, family, and complete strangers while dancing and singing along to the music!

Our theme for this year's event is All That We Share. Holi is fundamentally a shared experience, bringing individuals from different walks of life together to enjoy the festival. Additionally, when attendees are covered with rang, differences in their appearances become negligible, symbolizing the shared attributes between us once we look past superficial differences.
