Hi All,I am Krithika. My husband and I are moving to Austin sometime in the middle of Apr 2015. We would like to get some information regarding Indian communities in and around Research Blvd (Visa Inc). We did see that Riata was close by proximity and looked good from their website gallery pics. What other communities are good for Indians (friendly neighborhood, indian groceries, indian restaurants these being our primary lookouts) and are also easy commutable from Research Blvd. We are really excited to move there to meet new people and friends and also bcuz of the awesome weather so much like Chennai :) ..

Madison at stone creek on McNeil Drive will be closest to Visa office. They have reasonable rates. You can look at other aprmt complexes on McNeil.

Welcome to Austin. I have moved here just a 2 weeks back and I am already liking this place. The above places mentioned by Vijayalakshmi seems nice. You can also try other places which are close to Metric Blvd, Plamer ln, Burnet and W.Braker. It is fairly close to Indian stores, Walmart, COSTCO. Also, I would like to meet up with people and develop a small social group to meet every weekend. Let me know if there is a plan. take care everyone.

Hi,You can check with Amber Oaks, 95twenty, The Ranch, Ventana on West Parmer Lane. You will have Walmart, Gandhi Bazar, HEB nearby with 3 - 4 miles and Indian Restaurants like Dawaat, Paradise, Briyani Pot, Madras Pavilion nearby within 5 to 10 miles. Hindu Temple will be within 7 - 10 miles.
